The hot new album from Necessary Mayhem Records is ready to drop on Monday 10th May bringing serious damage to dances and sounds around the globe.

Sick of modern dancehall with its throw-away production and everything auto-tuned to within an inch of its life? Then producer Curtis Lynch Jr has the cure - an album of big tunes that don't need artificial sweeteners or preservatives.

Digital Acoustics gathers the last 2 years' biggest from Lynch's Necessary Mayhem, Necessary Classics and Maroon labels plus new music recorded in Jamaica last autumn. It's a fresh take on roots and dancehall from a music lover and master producer - mixing the best elements of the classic era with today's studio techniques. That's why all his vinyl releases have flown out of the shops to become consistent best sellers (March 2010 - 5 songs in Choice FM Top 20).

Vintage samples from 'Police in Helicopter', 'Joker Smoker' and 'Champion Lover' mean any reggae head will 'get it' straight away. But these are supported by some of the heaviest and most tuneful bass lines to be heard anywhere at the moment, something new technology does better now than ever before. Whether you know the originals or not, you'll be begging the selector to pull up that track.

Massive sound killing anthem 'Dubplate' re-licks the untouchable 'Rumours'. Supercat's 'Come Down' riddim backs Mr Williamz on 'Real General'. The smash 'August Town' features vocals from the amazing Etana, while a sample from legendary UK film 'Babylon' (watched religiously by the young Curtis) announces Blackout JA dee-jaying and legend Brinsley Forde voicing on Can't Take No More'. New track 'As Mi Forward' pairs JA giant Busy Signal with hot Swedish talent Million Stylez.

What's more Necessary Mayhem is pulling out all the stops and throwing in a free bonus CD containing an exclusive 45 minute mix by "Club Jamaica".  Telano and crew have been smashing it in dances in Japan for years and you'll see why when you hear this excellent mix.

Digital Acoustics: bringing back the vibes of how good reggae music should sound in a modern setting... Musical mayhem inna necessary fashion...

Mr. Williamz hailing from NW10 out of London England is without doubt one of the major players in keeping the trend of great MC's in England going. Voted BBC UK Artiste of the year 2008 Williamz burst onto the reggae scene last summer 2008 with his official debut release "Babylon in Helicopter" Produced by Curtis Lynch Jnr for Necessary Mayhem. The 7" single hit number 1 in New York singles chart and the same result in many of the European countries.

His second single "No Cigarette" on the Joker Smoker Riddim had the same effect as the last however this time has been added to  "The biggest one drop reggae hits 2009" a popular Greensleeves/VP compilation.

Mr. Williamz is working on his debut album to be released courtesy of Necessary Mayhem early 2010 but in the meantime his scorcher "Real General" on the "Come Down Riddim" continues to sail up the charts.
